You know that saying, you always want what you can’t have? Well, I want a breakfast nook and I can’t have it! It’s just not possible with the layout of our home. However, I keep catching myself pinning beautiful breakfast built-ins at night.
A banquette is a great way to make the most out of a small space in your home.
The large windows in the photo above serve as the perfect backdrop for this breakfast built-in. The industrial chandelier provides a nice contrast to the more traditional furniture. I love the chairs in this photograph, they feel very French cafe to me. They have a similar look to the Serena and Lily Chairs pictured below.
I’d like to sip my morning coffee in either one of these rooms.
Light and bright. How fun is that chandelier?
This feminine space has the option for more seating with the builtins next to the dining area.
You really can do builtins with whatever configuration you have room for! The long dining bench below works perfectly with the size of the farm table. It doesn’t take much room to create a stunning breakfast area.
Have you noticed that all of the builtins are placed under large windows for great natural light? Look at this beautiful bay window turned breakfast nook.
I love hydrangeas. Have you noticed that all of these kitchen tables have fresh flowers as their centerpiece? Simple and elegant.
Another added plus that you get from a breakfast built-in? Extra storage.
I don’t know about you guys but I always need extra storage in my kitchen!
Thanks for stopping by and admiring all of these gorgeous breakfast spaces with me. Since I can’t create my own breakfast nook at home, I’ll just keep on pinning ideas for your perfect dining space.
