In my home I tend to decorate more for fall than Halloween. I love the beautiful colors that fall brings and I tend to gravitate more towards Thanksgiving than Halloween decor. However, every year around this time I wish I had more Halloween decorations! It is such a fun time of year for kids and now that I have a little toddler running around, it’s time to embrace this scary season.
I think I’ve always stayed away from Halloween decor because your typical decorations can look so tacky! Today I’m rounding up some scary but chic Halloween inspiration.

Look at this DIY wreath from Woman’s Day! This is so creative. I think you would need to have a covered porch for this craft. Rain could turn this DIY into quite a mess!
Speaking of candy corn, this simple Halloween decoration is both cost effective and pretty!

Another Halloween candle idea uses orange candles and black jellybeans or coffee beans, either would work! How great is this wreath?

I am a big McKenzie Child’s fan, I love their courtly check pattern and MC happens to make a variety of pumpkins for Halloween. If you’d like to give painting pumpkins a try, Home Talk has a DIY McKenzie Child’s pumpkin!
